Exams' week

I think that exams’ week is a really stressful week, because we have to study, we have to make projects and some teachers agree to receive some late homework. So, obviously since you wake up, you are all stress out because the exam and because you went to sleep late doing homework, and is hard to get up at 7 in the morning, haha I’m just kidding!

Even that you are supposed to know what you have to study, there are some nice teachers that point out what we need to study or they accept to give us a review so is easier for us.

One good thing about exams though, is that we get out earlier from the classes or they agree to let us study, so the classes are not heavy.

After doing the exams, when we ask them to give us the grades, some teachers reveal that we didn’t do well in the exam, so we have to hang around just waiting for them to give them to us.

Is really relaxing once you are done with all the exams, homework and projects that you were ask to, besides all the teachers insist on doing their project the best, but is really hard to make all the projects with the same effort. The first project is the one you spend more time on, but in the last ones, you just want to get it done.

I don’t see the point on doing exams, obviously is for us to show the teachers if we learn, but we study one day before or even 10 minutes before, so there´s no point on doing them, maybe the surprise exams work, but I obviously prefer this ones, with the other ones, the majority wouldn’t pass from 1st semester, so enjoy your stressful week, it could be worst!

Places to visit in San Luis Potosi...

There are a lot of places you could visit at San Luis Potosi, whether you are from here or from somewhere else.

Its funny how you know more about other places' culture and its really difficult to talk about yours... OK is not funny!

To learn a little about San Luis Im going to give you a brief explanation about each place you wouldnt like to miss visiting. Some of them are its churches and cathedral, museums, plazas, parks, among others.

To begin, Im going to talk to you about the museums. There are different types of museum, obviously, because each of them exhibit different things. In San Luis there is this museum which shows a collection of different mexican masks, each of them with its history or showing a little bit about the traditions. This museum its called "Museo de la Mascara".

Other important places are the plazas, like Plaza de Armas, where we could find the Palacio Municipal and the Cathedral, which has beautiful vitrals, and apostols images.

This plaza is the most visited place in the city.

Another plaza is the Plaza del Carmen, its known as the most beautiful plaza. We could find the Teatro de la Paz and Museo Nacional de la Mascara.

About the parks, there is the Tangamanga park, where people go to do some activities like play tennis, ride a double bike, go see the ducks, jog, go to the Teatro Carlos Amador, and there take place american football or soccer games.

This are just some places and activities you could do in San Luis Potosi. The Huasteca count with activities related to ecoturism, but Ill talk to you about it later...
