San Luis Potosi is one of the 32 states from Mexico and it is divided into 58 municipies divided in 4 geographic regions: Huasteca, Altiplano, Media and Centre.
It is a state with a lot of culture, heritage and history.
The typical food here are the enchiladas potosinas, really good accompanied with beans and guacamole.

Recomendations
In San Luis there are a lot of things to do, you could really enjoy a visit to some museums like Museo de la Mascara, for some cultural learning.
This museum its located downtown in front of Teatro de la Paz, in an old building from the XIX century. It is a really pretty museum. Its considered one of the best ones of the country.
It has over 1200 masks in its collection and in the 2nd floor you could see how was the house from that century organized, and you could learn how they lived, what did they like and what were their activities.
Another museum is Federico Silva, its a sculptures museum, it has a lot of rooms, 6 are permanent rooms and 2 temporal rooms which are always changing the scultures.
They are great museums, you would learn a lot just taking a peak. Dont miss the oportunity to see them.

Recipies
Here is another mexican recipe. It is like a sweet bread, really delicious. People from all ages enjoy it always.
Garibaldis
Garibaldis
- 2 cups of butter
- 1 1/4 cup of sugar
- 5 eggs
- 4 cups of flour
- 1 ts of baking powder
- 2/3 cup of whipped cream
- 1 cup of apricot jam
- 2 cups of white rooks
- You will make the butter softer with the sugar until its pale and light. You wil add the eggs, one by one.
- You will sift flour with the baking powder and wrap it with the butter mix. You dont have to work it a lot, just until it is all together.
- You will spread the mixture on the molds and bake for 15 min. or until they are baked at 180ºC.
- Then, you will leave them to cool down and varnish with a brush with the apricot jam and spread the rooks on top.

Im going to give you a delicious recipe. Its a mexican dessert and its delicious. Its really simple. Here is it.
Caramel (Cajeta) Crepes

Caramel (Cajeta) Crepes
- 1 3/4 cup of cajeta
- 1 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of rum
- 24 crepes
- 4 Ts of butter
- 50 grs of nuts
- You have to heat the milk with the cajeta until it boils, so then you could add the rum.
- To heat the crepes, you will add some butter in a pan and wait until they heat a little.
- Then, you will put them on a plate and add the cajeta sauce and fold them in 4.
- To finish, you will add more sauce on top of it and spread some nuts on it.
*If you add some tequila to the sauce, they will have a great mexican flavour.
