Recipies

Here is another mexican recipe. It is like a sweet bread, really delicious. People from all ages enjoy it always.


Garibaldis



  • 2 cups of butter

  • 1 1/4 cup of sugar

  • 5 eggs

  • 4 cups of flour

  • 1 ts of baking powder

  • 2/3 cup of whipped cream

  • 1 cup of apricot jam

  • 2 cups of white rooks



  1. You will make the butter softer with the sugar until its pale and light. You wil add the eggs, one by one.

  2. You will sift flour with the baking powder and wrap it with the butter mix. You dont have to work it a lot, just until it is all together.

  3. You will spread the mixture on the molds and bake for 15 min. or until they are baked at 180ºC.

  4. Then, you will leave them to cool down and varnish with a brush with the apricot jam and spread the rooks on top.
